Participation of the Constitutional Court of Albania in the International Conference of Yerevan, Armenia, 21-23 October 2016.

Upon invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of Armenia, Dr. Gagik Harutyunyan, two judges of the Constitutional Court of Albania, Mr. Fatos Lulo and Mr. Besnik Imeraj, participated in the International Conference of Yerevan.

This conference took place in Yerevan on 21 - 23 October 2016 and was organized from the Constitutional Court of Armenia in cooperation with the Venice Commission and the Organization "Conference of Constitutional Control Organs of the Countries of New Democracy", with the support of the Armenian Office of the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The key topics of the conference were: "The role and importance of Constitutional Court decisions in addressing legislative gaps and legal uncertainty” and “The role and significance of “Rule of Law Checklist”, adopted at the 106th Plenary Session of the Venice Commission, in the process of conducting constitutional monitoring”. During this Conference, judges attended as well the solemn ceremony of establishment of the Foundation “International Public Analytical Center "The Constitutional Culture"”.
