Participation of the delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania at the 20th Annual International Judicial Conference, Paris, France, May 17-19, 2017.

Upon invitation of the Furth Family Foundation, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania, composed by Mr. Vladimir Kristo, Judge of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Aleksandër Toma, Director of Cabinet of President, and Mrs. Thomaida Xhoxhaj, Senior Specialist at the Direction of Public and International Relations, attended the 20th Annual International Judicial Conference, which held the proceedings in Paris from 17 to 19 May 2017.

During the sessions of this conference all participants, judges of the constitutional courts and high courts from many countries of the world, discussed and shared their relevant experience on topics related to the need for continuous education and training for judges through the judicial training institutes; the criminal justice response to terrorism; the developments in private antitrust litigation and the conflicts between the concept of the universal jurisdiction and the sovereign state.
