Study visit of a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania in Strasbourg, 1- 4 December 2015.

At the invitation of the Council of Europe, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania, consisting of Ms. Elsa Toska, adviser of the President of the Court, Ms. Kaliona Nushi, Ms. Valbona Pajo and Ms. Olta Aliaj, legal advisers, made a study visit to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg from 1st to 4 December 2015. The visit was organized within the joint project of the Council of Europe and the European Union to increase the efficiency of the judicial system in Albania.

The delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania had important meetings with representatives of the Council of Europe structures, as representatives from CEPEJ, the Venice Commission and the European Court of Human Rights. During these meetings they discussed various topics related to the issue of human rights, especially with regard to Albanian cases examined by the ECHR, as well as European standards of administration of justice within the efficiency of providing public service by the courts.
