Study visit of the administrative staff of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania to the Constitutional Court of Portugal, 3-5 December 2015

From 3 to 5 December 2016 a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, headed by the Director of Cabinet, Mr. Aleksandër Toma, and consisting of Ms. Vorpsi Arta and z. Eugen Papandile, legal advisers and Ms. Noela RUÇO and Ms. Alma Çomo, directors, held a two-day study visit to the Constitutional Court of Portugal.

 

During this visit, the Director of Cabinet, the Secretary General and heads of some departments of the Constitutional Court of Portugal presented the organization, powers and activities of their respective structures of and the legal advisors made a detailed presentation of the organization and their functions. Representatives of both the Constitutional Courts had the opportunity to exchange their respective experiences in areas of common interest for both constitutional institutions.

 

During the second day of the study visit, the delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania was received in a special meeting by the President of the Constitutional Court of Portugal, Mr. Joaquim de Sousa Ribeiro, who expressed the willingness of the institution he headed for the intensification and deepening of the bilateral cooperation with other Constitutional Courts, especially in the context of joint participation in Conference of European Constitutional Courts and the World Conference on Constitutional Justice .

 

At the conclusion of this official visit, the delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania visited the premises of work, the library and the auditorium of the Constitutional Court of Portugal.
