Visit of a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania in Croatia, March 18th – 21st, 2010.

Upon the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Jasna Omejec, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania headed by its President, Dr. Vladimir Kristo, and composed of Mr. Kujtim Puto, Mrs. Vitore Tusha, Mr. Admir Thanza, judges, and Mr. Durim Kadiu, Head of the President’s Cabinet, paid an official visit in Croatia, on March 18th – 21st, 2010.

During this visit, the delegation held some important meetings with high personalities of the country. The delegation was received by the President of the Republic of Croatia, Prof. Ivo Josipović, a meeting in which it was emphasized the role of the respective Constitutional Courts in the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms, as well as the commitment of the President of the Republic in the consolidation of the institution of the Constitutional Court of Croatia.

Further more, the Albanian delegation was received by the Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Luca Bebić, in a meeting which pointed out the excellent relations that exist between our two countries. Also, the delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania held a meeting with the constitutional judges of Croatia, which aimed at the exchanging of views and experiences among the respective institutions
