Visit of the delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, 10 – 12 May 2016

The President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, and the judges Mrs. Altina Xhoxhaj and Mr. Fatmir Hoxha, as well as Mr. Kujtim Osmani, Secretary General, and Mr. Aleksandër Toma, Head of the President’s Office, paid a working visit to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo.

The delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania had official meetings with the President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Mrs. Arta Rama Harizaj, President of the Republic, H.E.Mr. Hashim Thaci, Minister of Justice, Mr. Hajredin Kuqi, and the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Fejzulla Hasani.

The main topics discussed during these meetings were the functioning of judiciary and the reforms expected to take place in both countries; there were exchanged ideas and views with regard to deepening of this cooperation in the future.

Afterward, the judges of both Constitutional Courts had a round table where the respective views of constitutional judgment were discussed.
