International Conference on "Evolution of constitutional control in Europe: Lesson learned and new challenges", Chisinau, Moldova, 2-3 March 2017.
Upon invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Alexandru TÃNASE, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania, composed of Mr. Bashkim Dedja, President of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Gani Dizdari, Judge, and Mrs. Alma Çomo, Director of the Public and International Relations, attended the International Conference on "Evolution of constitutional control in Europe: lesson learned and new challenges", which took place in Chisinau, Moldova, on 2 – 3 March, 2017.
This event, a cooperation of the Constitutional Court of Moldova with the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, was attended by international high officials, presidents and judges from different constitutional courts, and by the President of the Venice Commission, Mr. Gianni Buquicchio.
The proceedings of the International Conference were organized in three sessions dealing with the following topics: "The extension and evolution of constitutional control in Europe: New Trends", "The relationships between the institutions of constitutional control and the international and European courts", and "The independence of constitutional court as a prerequisite for the efficiency of its mission".
