Seminar on the European Union law, organized in collaboration with the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation.

The Constitutional Court of Albania and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) organized on November 15-16, 2011, in Hotel "Tirana International", a joint seminar entitled: "Overview of the European Union Law", with the participation of legal advisers and administrative staff of the court. Lecturer of the course was Dr. Jan Bergmann - judge in the Administrative Court, Baden - Wurttemberg, Germany. Seminar participants were greeted by Ms. Amalia Wuckert, representative of IRZ Foundation, Bonn.

During the two-day seminar, the lecturer gave a presentation on the basic structures of the European Union, on the domestic market and the system of legal protection and the protection of fundamental rights in the EU. The German lecturer brought examples of decisions of the European Court of Human Rights, as well as practical treatment of specific issues, based on his experience as a judge in an administrative court. During the sessions, participants discussed and gave their opinion about the topics and case studies dealt by the lecturer.
