Visit of a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania in Kosovo, October 14th – 15th, 2010.

Upon the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, consisting of the President of this court, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, and the Secretary General, Mr. Kujtim Osmani, attended the ceremony of the opening of judicial year of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, which was held on October 14th, 2010 at the Youth Center, in Prishtina.

During the reception organized on this occasion, the President of the Constitutional Court of Albania held official meetings with the President of the Constitutional Court of Turkey Mr. Hasim Kilic, the President of the Constitutional Court of Macedonia, Mr. Trendafil Ivanovski and the Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Portugal Mr. Gil Galvão. The common denominator of all these meetings was the further development of the relations of mutual cooperation between the respective Constitutional Courts.

In the framework of this visit, on October 15th, 2010, the Albanian delegation held official meetings with the President and the judges of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, the acting President of the Republic of Kosova, Dr. Jakup Krasniqi, the Prime Minister Mr. Hashim Thaçi, and the Minister of Justice, Mr. Haki Demolli.
