Upon the invitation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, on January 28th – 30th, 2010, a delegation from the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, headed by its President, Prof. Dr. Enver Hasani, and composed of Mr. Kadri Kryeziu, Deputy President, Mrs. Ilirjana Islami, Mr. Altay Suroy and Mr. Ivan Cukalovic, judges, as well as Mrs. Arbëresha Shala, Secretary General, paid an official visit in the Republic of Albania.
The delegation of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo held meetings with the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, Dr. Vladimir Kristo, and with the other judges of this Court. These meetings pointed out the need of close cooperation not only between both courts, but even broader within our region, a cooperation which was considered to be very useful, especially from the viewpoint of exchanging the opinions and experiences in the field of constitutional judgment. During this visit, the Kosovo delegation was received in official meetings by the President of the Republic of Albania, His Excellency Bamir Topi, Speaker of the Assembly, Mrs. Jozefina Topalli, and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Mrs. Shpresa Beçaj.
