Visit of the delegation of the Constitutional Court of Austria to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, 29 – 31 May 2016

Upon the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, from 29 – 31 May 2016, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of Austria composed of Dr. Gerhart Holzinger, President of the Constitutional Court, Ms. Reinhild Huppmann, Head of Protocol and Department of International Relations, and Ms. Maria Varga, Head of the President’s Office, paid a two-day visit to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania.

In the framework of this visit, on 30 may 2016, the delegation of the Constitutional Court of Austria was welcomed in the premises of the Constitutional Court in a meeting with the President of this Court, Mr. Bashkim Dedja. The Presidents expressed their will and institutional commitment to the further consolidation of the very good relations of cooperation that exist between both of the Constitutional Courts. Afterward, the delegation of the Constitutional Court of Austria had a working meeting with the other members of the Constitutional Court.  

     
The delegation of the Constitutional Court of Austria had official meetings with the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Prof. Dr. Xhezair Zaganjori, and other members of this court, and Mr. Ilir Meta, Spokesman of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania.
In honor of the delegation of the Constitutional Court of Austria, the President of the Constitutional Court of Albania, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, offered an official dinner which was also attended by the Ambassador of Austria in the Republic of Albania, H.E.Dr. Johann Sattler.
