In the framework of the process of drafting the Strategic Plan of the Constitutional Court of Albania 2021-2023, in the premises of this court, an informative meeting was held with the participation of the Secretary General of this court, representatives of the OSCE Office in Tirana, representatives of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation as well as international experts engaged in this project.
The meeting also marks the conclusion of the first phase of work on drafting the Strategic Plan. During this phase, international experts, through informative meetings with judges, advisors and staff of the administration of the Constitutional Court, gathered the necessary documentation and were informed about the various opinions and suggestions to analyze the situation and identify the typology of issues that should be addressed in order to draft an action plan and determine the further steps to be taken.
For the implementation of the Strategic Plan 2021 - 2023, which represents a document of special institutional importance and a legal and constitutional obligation, the Constitutional Court is financially supported by the OSCE Presence and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. During the meeting, the latter evaluated positively the level of cooperation so far and the active involvement of the staff of the Constitutional Court in the work process for drafting the strategic plan and assessed that these are the premises for the continuation and successful finalization of the strategy.
