Anniversary of the Court of Cassation of the Republic of Turkey, 6-7 March 2018.

Upon the invitation of the President of the Turkish Court of Cassation, Mr. Ìsmail Rüştü CÍRÌT, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, composed of Mr. Bashkim Dedja, President of the Court, Mr. Gani Dizdari, judge, and Mr. Eugen Papandile, Secretary General, attended the international symposium titled "150th anniversary of the Turkish Court of Cassation", and the festive events organized on this occasion. The conference proceedings were held in Ankara, Turkey, on 6-7 March 2018 and post-conference activities on March 8, 2018.
Speeches and discussions during the international conference proceedings were focused on the role of the Court of Cassation in the Turkish judicial system.
This conference was honored by the presence of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Binali Yildirim, as well as other distinguished personalities of the country. In addition, the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, hosted an official luncheon in honor of the chiefs of foreign delegations.
The Constitutional Court of Albania remains fully committed to continue the cooperation with supreme courts through the exchange of common experiences, and has the conviction that such activities play a very important role in intensifying this cooperation.
