At the invitation of Prof. Dr. Ernest Petrič, member of the Constitutional Court of Slovenia, and Mr. Garis Laiser, President of the Slovenian Paneuropean Movement, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, President of the Constitutional Court of Albania, attended the International Paneuropean Conference on: "Multidimensionality of European Foreign Policy," which was held in Ljubljana from 21-23 February 2014.
This conference was organized by the Slovenian Paneuropean Movement as part of the “European Citizens for European Foreign Policy” project (including 13 partners from 8 different EU and non – EU countries), and is supported by the Europe for Citizens Program of the European Union.
The aim of this conference was to discuss various dimensions of the EU foreign policy, one among them being the role and particularly cases and practices of the Constitutional Courts in creating the EU foreign policy.
The President of the Constitutional Court of Albania, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, held a presentation on the first panel topic: "EU Foreign Policy: Legal Fundamentals and constitutional practice".
