The President of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, received today in an official meeting in the premises of this court, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Albania Her Excellency Ms. Susanne Schütz.
Discussions during the meeting were focused on the current situation of the Constitutional Court of Albania due to the expiration of the mandates of some judges, as well as to the dismissal of some of them by the Independent Qualification Commission in the framework of implementation of the justice system reform.
President Dedja expressed a special gratitude for the support that German foundations such as "Hanns Seidel", GIZ, IRZ, Konrad-Adenauer, have given to the justice system in Albania, and especially to the Constitutional Court.
