Participation of the Constitutional Court of Albania in the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Tribunal of Andorra, Andorra la Vella, 11-14 July 2018.

Upon the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Tribunal of Andorra, Mr. Isidre Molas Batllori, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of Albania, composed of Mr. Bashkim Dedja, President of this Court, and Ms. Thomaida Xhoxhaj, specialist at the Department of Public and International Relations, attended the International Conference on "Constitutional Courts, a guarantee for the quality of democracy in society", which was organized on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Principality of Andorra on 12-13 July 2018, in Andorra la Vella.
Participants at the two-day conference, who were representatives from 44 constitutional courts and equivalent institutions, discussed on the competencies and the protection of constitutional courts, the guarantee of the separation of powers and fundamental rights, the status of independence of constitutional judges.
Post-conference activities for participants in this anniversary of the Andorran Constitutional Tribunal continued with a reception at the Andorra Parliament hosted by the President of this Parliament, Mr. Vicenç Mateu Zamora, and with another official reception at the French Embassy in Andorra on July 14, 2018 on the occasion of the National Holiday of France.
