Seminar on "The control of Supreme Court decisions" Pristina, Kosovo, June 12th, 2013.

At the invitation of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, the President of the Constitutional Court of Albania, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, accompanied by the Head of Cabinet Mr. Aleksandër Toma, took part in the seminar on "The control of Supreme Court decisions," which was held in Pristina on June 12th, 2013.

The seminar was organized by the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court of Kosovo, with the support of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ), and with the participation of judges of both courts.

Prof. dr. Ulrich Karpen of the Faculty of Law, University of Hamburg, Germany, presented several topics related to the constitutional appeals against the decisions of the courts in the region - judicial review of decisions of the Supreme Court and other ordinary courts by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo; implementation of the human rights’ standards, provided for by the European Convention on Human Rights.
