Study visit of the representatives of the Constitutional Court of Albania to the European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg 16 - 27 November 2015.
In the framework of joint activities of the Constitutional Court of Albania with Hanns Seidel Foundation, representatives of the Constitutional Court of Albania held a study visit to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) from 16 to 27 November 2015.
From Albania's Constitutional Court participated Ms. Brunilda Bara, Director of Judicial and Documentation Department, Ms. Rezarta Bitri and z. Eugen Papandile, legal advisers of the Court.
This oriented-training visit at the Division 4.2 of the ECHR, under the supervision of the Head of Division Peter Kempees and the lawyer Ylli Peco, enabled the representatives of the Constitutional Court of Albania to create an overall picture about the functioning and daily activities of the ECHR and its unique role in the development of standards and practices on human rights, rule of law and democracy in Europe.
Training of this nature complement and deepen the knowledge acquired during the personal experience of working in order to improve performance and increase the effectiveness of the daily activity of the Constitutional Court. Moreover, these kinds of visits promote the European integration, offering to the participants the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment that respects the values of the Council of Europe.
