Meeting in the Constitutional Court in the framework of the joint project EU / CoE “Support to Efficiency of Justice – SEJ”, 29 January 2015.

In cooperation with EURALIUS IV, in the framework of the joint project EU / CoE “Support to Efficiency of Justice – SEJ”, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Council of Europe, a report has been prepared on the Individual Evaluation of Judges in Albania.

The experts working on this project - Ms. Anne Sanders and Ms. Tea Jaliashvili, met on 29 January 2015, the representatives of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Sokol Berberi and Mr. Fatmir Hoxha, members of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Aleksandër Toma, Director of President’ Office, and Ms. Elsa Toska, legal advisor to the President of the Court.

All participants of the meeting discussed on the current system of individual evaluation of judges in Albania and shared valuable opinions on how to improve the standards of this evaluation.
