Seminar on "Admissibility of individual applications by the Constitutional Court - the Spanish experience", December 13-14, 2012.

In cooperation with EURALIUS - European Assistance Mission to the Albanian Justice System, in December 13-14, 2012 was held a seminar on “Admissibility of individual applications by the Constitutional Court - the Spanish experience," whose lecturer was Dr. Juan Carlos Cabanas from the Constitutional Court of Spain. The organization of this seminar followed the cooperation between the Constitutional Court of Albania and the Constitutional Court of Spain, which is also substantiated by the study visit of a delegation of the Court in Spain, in February.

The seminar was attended by legal advisers and administrative staff of the Constitutional Court.

 

The Spanish lecturer, in the company of Mr. Joaquin Urias, Head of EURALIUS mission, was received at a meeting by the President of the Constitutional Court, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, who appreciated the cooperation between the two courts and the ongoing support of EURALIUS for the Constitutional Court. At the meeting, participants assessed the current cooperation and confirmed the commitment that this cooperation will continue even during the next year, with some concrete projects, such as assistance for the preparation of the draft law on the Constitutional Court, within the first half of 2013, and paying a study visit at the Constitutional Court of Spain.
