Visit of a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania at the Constitutional Court of Romania, 4 – 7 April 2011

Upon invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Romania, Mr. Augustin Zegrean, a delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, headed by its President, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, and composed of Mrs. Vitore Tusha and Mrs. Altina Xhoxhaj, judges, paid a study visit at the Constitutional Court of Romania.

In the framework of this study visit, the delegation held important meetings with high personalities in the country. The delegation was received in an official meeting by the Vice - Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Cassation and Justice, Mrs. Rodica Aida Popa, and the Head of Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Albania, Mr. Costică Canacheu. Moreover, the delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania held at the premises of the Constitutional Court of Romania a working meeting with all the judges of this court, which focused on the exchange of ideas and experiences in the field of constitutional judgment, as well as on further deepening of the very good relations of cooperation that exist between respective institutions.
