International Conference held in Prishtina, Kosovo, on November 25th – 26th, 2010.

A delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, composed of the President of this court, Mr. Bashkim Dedja, Mr. Sokol Sadushi, Mr. Xhezair Zaganjori, judges and Mrs. Arta Vorpsi, legal advisor, took part in the Conference "Constitutional Justice in Internationalized Structures of Governance in Kosovo and beyond – challenges and comparisons." This conference was organized by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo in cooperation with the German Foundation GTZ (in the framework of the law reform project) and the Justus Liebig University of Giessen. The conference was opened with the welcoming speeches held by the President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Mr. Enver Hasani, the President of the Constitutional Court of Albania, Mr. Bashkim Dedja and the representative of GTZ Foundation, Mr. Volkmar Theobald.

During the conference proceedings, the judges from the Constitutional Court of Albania, Mr. Sokol Sadushi and Mr. Xhezair Zaganjori delivered speeches on the topics: "Current challenges faced by the Constitutional Courts - the Albanian case" and "Comparative perspectives on the relationship between Constitutional Courts and higher Courts in the region." In the second day of the conference, that was mainly focused on the relations between Constitutional Courts and other branches of government in transition countries, one the discussion panels was chaired by the legal adviser of the Constitutional Court of Albania, Mrs. Arta Vorpsi.
